Search is essential in today’s shopping experience. Every time a users makes a search on a search engine such as Google they are displayed with organic as well as paid results. Who gets to display their ads is based on relevance alghoritms and bidding levels in a real time auction for advertisers.
This means that each search query related to a product is an opportunity for online stores to display and sell their products. The most common search engine used today is Google and to be able to show ads on Google Search you need to use a platform called Google Adwords. This platform gives you the opportunity to create campaigns where you choose which keywords you want to be visible for with your ads, and how much you are willing to pay for each click on one of your ads.
Getting started with Google Adwords or Bing Ads which is the corresponding platform for advertising on Yahoo Search and Bing Search is pretty easy.
